Link It Up Thursday

I may have mentioned at some point before that I now have three and a half folders worth of blog links in my bookmarks. And I read even more than that. I'm sure if I took all the time I spent reading blogs and used it to do something else my house and my children would thank me, but it's a little piece of sanity for me.

When I find something I like, I like to share at least a little piece of it. My parents taught me well ... in that respect anyway. So, please enjoy a little bit of linky goodness on me.

The Coconut Diaries waxed poetic on a topic that I'm sure many of us have thought about, American or not, since Barack Obama started campaigning and his beautiful wife stood by him. Why does the press feel the need to comment on lack of flag pins and how often the woman mentions America in her speeches?

One of the funniest daddies on the block over at Childs Play x 2 claims he was hula dancing with his wee ones. Unfortunately he has failed to provide the required proof....do we believe him?

I've been reading about the incredible personal strength of a little girl named Kathryn for awhile now as she journeys the world of seizures and all the tests that go with them. Brian is her dad and he'll tell you all about his wonderful little girl (and other awesome stuff) over at Looky Daddy!

So the fact that this guy has one of the "Hottest Daddy Blogger" reps in the blogosphere helps draw the people to his little space I'm sure, but quite honestly he's a riot to read. Most recently Shawn has been nominated for the Hottest Bloggers Calendar. You can check out his funny musings at Backpacking Dad and if you'd care to join the masses in voting for him, go HERE and scroll down til you see Backpacking Dad in the list and click there.

Jennifer at Playgroups Are No Place For Children recently pondered whether bribing her children with the MAKING of pudding was any better than bribing them with the eating of it. I think most of us concurred it was. Oh! And if you're looking for ways to improve your blog and bring in new readers, then stick around for her mini classes on Saturdays, the latest of which you can find HERE.

And last (for this week anyway), but certainly not least...

Liz likes to live Life as a List (how's that for alliteration?). From things she loves about her mom to confessions that some of us might find odd to some much needed help in the grammar area, Liz has what you need for a quick but insightful read. Personally I'm right on board with the grammar post, yet it's something thing that I struggle with daily.

So there you have it. Go check them out and investigate some more of the big huge world of blogging. There are so many talented folk out there, and I've decided to showcase some of them each week from now on, because I love them all so damn much.

I have totally used the allure of making pudding as a bribe! Many times! It's insane, really, how my kids haven't caught on yet!

Thanks for giving me new fodder for my Reader!

One of the disadvantages of being the family photographer is that you never make it into any photos. We have thousands of photos since we had the twins and I think I might be in less than 1% of them.

Thanks for the shout out!
